Sweep the 'Stros, Merle Haggard and Sleeping Baby Boy
Great start to the season. Don't remember the last time it started with a sweep. Usually it's an opening day loss to the Nats. This was a nice change of pace and it's great to see Howard go deep, especially in the first series. That first bomb is always filled with some anticipation, especially when talking about a guy like Ryan. It can be frustrating when it's a good 10-12 games into the season and you're still waiting on that first one. Benny Fran showed up this series too, going 6 for 13 with a homer, 4RBI's and 3 runs. Jayson who? 3-0........Next up, the fuckin Mets.
Name: Jameson Patrick
Interests: Sleeping, Peeing, Pooping, Sleeping, Breast Milk, Monkeys.
Momma just got a glider chair from Mee-Maw (sp?) to give her some comfort. He's now 2 weeks and 3 days old and obviously not doing much but sleeping and eating, but that's okay, he's got to get his rest.

Merle Haggard - It's All In The Movies
I started really digging into some country a couple months ago. I had always liked Cash and Patsy Cline and various 'alt-country' bands but that's where it ended. I don't ever want to be on of those people describes their taste as "everything but rap and country", pretty constricting. Released in '75, this is the type of album that really only sounds good on vinyl. It reminds me of something that would be playing on the jukebox at some dusty desolate establishment in the south. Maybe only one other patron at the bar and the bartender with a rag over his shoulder cleaning pint glasses. From other reviews I've read some put this as a bunch of filler, and while there may be some merit to that, there's a couple good ones on here and works well as a full album.
